History

A small team of guys and girls, we at VERAGAMING are programmers and designers that serve local industrial companies. We always wanted to create games and when the Unreal Engine become free, we understand that the time has come. We start implementing the idea of the game that was in minds for the last three years.

Features

  • Players can hire units during the battle to adapt to the opponent force’s composition.
  • There is no pre-battle preparation that has all but become an annoying staple in similar games.
  • Strict rules. No “luck” and no “random” or “misses”. Tactical Legends is a pure battle of wits, just like chess.
  • Perfect balance.
  • The rules are really simple and it takes few minutes to start game with friend.
  • Quick turns, especially at the start of the match. Games typically last 15-20 minutes.
  • Puzzles and game compositions make for interesting single player play.
  • No blood, no bones, no skulls.

Game modes

PvP (hotseat and online)

In this game mode, players can start fast battle with friends (hotseat and online) or with AI. Here you can learn basic game mechanics and create your own strategies.

Logical puzzles

We decided to grow game content by adding a “Logical Puzzles” game mode. It will work like chess puzzles and has three kinds:
Tutorial – puzzles for beginners that will show you basic aspects and game mechanics
Limited puzzles – challenges you to win the battle in an exact amount of turns by choosing the right strategy
Game composition – Consists of more difficult, yet interesting situations. Can be won by choosing the right strategy and maintaining perfect unit control

We are working on

  • Making better online version
  • A Rank and League system
  • New units and battlefields
  • New features like boosters pickups and distructable environment
  • Version for Mac, Linux, Xbox, PS, iOS and Androidn
  • Translation of the game to German, French, Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages
  • 3x3 online battles
